what is Puddle of Grunge?

Puddle of Grunge is a large-scale project that I have been working on since junior year of college. Me and my best friend/co-owner decided to start an Instagram page dedicated to one of the best eras of music, the 90’s. The page started as a small community where we’d post videos and images from iconic moments and concerts in the 90’s. Since starting in July of 2022, we have been able to amass 220,000 followers on Instagram, collaborate with some of our favorite bands, and talk to some of our personal heroes. On top of the Instagram page, we recently started a podcast on YouTube where we talk about our musical opinions, and even play music as well. A lot of the designs you see in here are merch designs for people to buy from the podcast. The logo design itself focuses around a cassette tape and ransom style typography. I think this works well and represents the era and style perfectly, dirty, grungy, scratched up, gritty, etc. This project has been a joy for me to work on and continue working on, and something I am deeply proud of.
