This is a design for my typography class, we got to screen print our own design. My design comes from my favorite band, Alice in Chains. Its from a song called Heaven Beside You and the imagery is from their album cover from their self-titled album. I’ve always loved this lyric and thought it would be interesting to lean into that darkness of it. I used a gothic type of font because I wanted to invoke that feeling of almost unholiness within it. I still wear this sweatshirt probably on a weekly basis, the final print turned out great.
